Super Lamicoats Pvt. Ltd. is a leading brand providing printing and packaging solutions for the FMCG sector in Nepal and started its operations in 1993. The production facility located in Chattapipra, Bara has state-of-the-art machines with a total capacity of 300 MT per month. The company has a diversified product line in flexible packaging solution, including soap wrappers, shampoo sachet, flour bags, noodle wrappers, shrink sleeves, etc. Its clients have included reputed companies like Chaudhary Group, Parle Foods and Britannia, and it’s provided packaging for iconic brands like Parle-G and Wai Wai. It is among Nepal’s top three flexible packaging manufacturing company.

Hanuman Metals Pvt. Ltd. along with its subsidiary Varun Udyog Company Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1996 and is one of the pioneers in manufacturing and exporting of various non-ferrous alloys like brass, bronze & copper. Its products range from basic metal sheets and circles to high-end utensils, kitchenware, and handicrafts. The production facility located in Bara is spread across an area of 55,000 square feet and employs close to 100 craftsmen excelling in the art of metal crafting. It is Nepal’s largest non-ferrous metals company fully integrating scrap to finished goods production.

Vinayak Agro Pvt. Ltd. was established in the year 2002 as one of the Nepal’s largest catechu mills. The company holds the capacity of producing 5,000 cases of catechu per month. The manufacturing facility is located in Jeetpur, Simra and boasts of one of the most flexible and integrated production facilities in the subcontinent with high-end machinery and advanced cold storage system.

The brand directly and indirectly provides livelihood to over 120 artisans from villages in Nepal with a desire to contemporize the heritage metalcraft of Nepal and to create products that are light on the environment and have health benefits for the consumers.

Nepal Marketing Company Pvt. Ltd. is involved in commodities trading, primarily focused on paper. It has partnered with the international brand Double A Paper to import premium paper and distribute it in the Nepali market, specifically for use in offices and homes. To enable its operations, Nepal Marketing has warehousing facilities along the India-Nepal corridor in Birgunj as well as multiple locations in Kathmandu.

Made in Nepal Pvt. Ltd. started as a trading company, but has now evolved to being an e-commerce company exclusively selling only Nepal made products. The platform aims to link producers from across Nepal, especially those in rural areas as well as start-ups and small/medium enterprises, with the global marketplace. It was started in partnership with some of Nepal’s oldest business houses and has tied up with FNCCI, Nepal’s largest umbrella organization representing the private sector. Real Estate

Real estate and construction are MC Group’s most recent business foray. It was started as a vertical to cater to a growing need for premium residential and commercial projects in the country. In 2020, the Group started a project for premium residential building, with more projects in the pipeline.

Skyline Developers Pvt. Ltd., formed in 2020, is a joint-venture between two of Nepal’s oldest and most reliable business houses – K.L. Dugar Group and MC Group. It’s first project, Sky One, is Nepal’s foremost luxury residential complex located in the heart of Kathmandu. The building will have a mix of duplex and single flats, with access to amenities such as swimming pool, fully equipped clubhouse, and interactive spaces, all built adhering to Zone 5 safety and security standards.

Our upcoming projects currently in the pipeline are our new corporate office, located in Kamaladi, Kathmandu. The office will serve as our new headquarters housing the firm’s corporate operations and employees. In the same area we also plan to develop a mixed-use premium commercial building that will cater to domestic and international corporates.

Our other real estate project being planned will be a professional warehousing located in Biratnagar (eastern Nepal).

Education

With a goal to provide high quality education to children in Nepal itself, our venture into education is not just a business, but a responsibility towards the future generation of the country. The Group currently operates a school in eastern Nepal with plans to expand to more locations in the country to fill a gaping hole in the country’s education infrastructure

D.A.V Dedraj Sewali Devi Todi School is located in the city of Biratnagar in eastern Nepal. Founded in 1995 in honor of MC Group’s Chairman’s Late parents, the school is part of the prestigious Dayanand-Anglo Vedic institutes spread across the world. The school’s campus spanning over 220,000 sq. ft. includes high tech computer lab, science lab and a library, and has 1,500 students across Kindergarten to Grade 12. In order to provide its students a breadth of college optionality, the school is one of the few in Nepal to offer both the Nepali SLC and the Indian CBSE Board.

These investments are made keeping in mind not just financial returns, but also as a resolve to play a vital role in the long-term economic growth of the country by contributing to the creation and promotion of modern financial institutions and energy infrastructure in Nepal.

MC Group has made significant investment in the banking and insurance sector. One of its strategic investments has been in Siddhartha Bank Limited. Since the Bank’s inception in 2002, MC Group has been one of the largest promoter shareholders. The Bank is listed in the Nepal Stock Exchange as a ‘Class A’ Bank and by 2021, it had expanded to have total paid up capital and reserves of Rs 25 Billion and close to 200-branches across Nepal.

The Group also holds major interest in Siddhartha Capital Limited, which became the first company to conceptualize and issue mutual fund schemes when it launched Siddhartha Mutual Fund in 2012. In the coming years Siddhartha Capital Limited is gearing itself to undertake investment banking activities and operate as a viable investment bank in Nepal.

In addition to the banking sector, MC Group has also played a prominent role in the development of life and non-life insurance market in Nepal through investments as promoters in major insurance companies such as Siddhartha Insurance Limited, Reliance Life Company Limited and Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited.
